Yesterday we met Eric down at Butler Park and let Colin run free in the water. The park had both water shooting up from the ground and little 6 inch deep pools to play in. Colin chased the water shooting up for a little while but ultimately settled down to play in the little pools. Here are some pics from our day.

Today we went to the doctor again to get Colin's ears checked. The good news is that the ear infections are gone. (yey!) The bad news is the she could still see fluid in each of his ears and suggested that we go to the ear, nose and throat specialist to get checked out anyway. The main goal would be to get his hearing checked to ensure that the fluid isn't limiting what he's able to hear. And she said, considering all the ear infections he's had, the doctor may want to give him tubes anyway just to reduce the chances that he'll get anymore going forward. So, we have set up our appointment for next Thursday and we'll see what they say. I really don't think he had any trouble hearing - he has a lot more troubling listening!
