It's so nice to be back to our daily routine. On Tuesdays, we usually go to storytime at a local bookstore, BookPeople (www.bookpeople.com). I love this bookstore! It has the largest selection of kids books I've ever seen and they have such unique toys, games, puzzles, activity sets and stuffed animals that I really could spend a day in there just looking at everything. I'm sure Colin could spend days in there! They also have a serious story time stage, complete with three levels of carpeted seating. Today we listened to Ms. Staci sing fun songs and read a book called Gallop. This book has a new technology called scanimation where the pictures on the page actually move. It was very cool! Each time we go, Colin gets more into it than the time before. Today he was clapping and bopping his head along to the music. : ) Here's a pic of Ms. Staci:
