Colin is so sick today. We went to the doctor this morning and he has infections in both eyes, both ears and a sinus infection. Poor bub! He is surprisingly happy for a kid that must feel so miserable. We may not have too much going on this week as we concentrate on getting rest and feeling better.

I did also ask about the way his body is taking shape. My dad's family line has a condition called Nail Patella that has been passed down genetically for generations. I managed to get by with just a few of the symptoms, the most notable one being my cracked thumb nails. I've noticed that Colin's nails are also cracked and since he started walking, he back appears to be just a little swayed. So, out of curiousity, I talked to the doctor this morning just to see what he thought. He checked him out, took a few xrays and referred him to a pediatric orthopedic specialist for further evaluation. We have an appointment this Friday morning to find out more. I really don't think this will turn into anything serious, but it will be interesting to learn more about this as I don't think anyone in my family has really looked into it before.
