It's only May and the temperatures outside are already stifling. Today the high in Austin was 101F! So while we try to spend as much time outside as possible, that block of opportunity is becoming earlier and later every day. As we spend more time indoors, I am constantly in search of fun activities to keep me and Colin busy. Today, I went to a crafts store and bought washable markers, water colors and modeling clay and I thought I would let Colin let his artistic talents flow. While he had a little trouble remembering to keep the marker on the page and not on the table, his clothes or me (thank goodness they're washable!!) - he did great with the water colors. Maybe we'll have an artist in the family!
