Wow - we've had some crazy days around here lately. My dad and Debbie came into town on Wednesday to celebrate Dad's birthday and to spend some time with us. They had fun with Colin reading, painting and just playing around. On Thursday, Colin came down with a stomach virus and got worse over the weekend. We went to the doctor on Friday and got the "you just have to ride it out" speech from the doctor. We felt so helpless! By Sunday, things were a little better and he's still on his way to feeling well. Although we've still had a couple of throw ups today - he's definitely feeling better. Then, our cat, Cali, who I've had since I was 16 took a turn for the worse this weekend. Her health is rapidly deteriorating from kidney failure and this will probably be her last week with us. With all of this, of course, Cameron left on Sunday for San Francisco. When it rains.....
