We look for opportunities everywhere to work with Colin on his ABC's. The letter mat has proved to be a great source of fun activities where Colin can learn a letter here and there and have fun in the process. We've done everything from having a specific letter chase after him around the room to us playing chase with him where a specific letter is 'base'. The latest letter game is taking several of the letters out and letting him figure out where they go back. He's getting pretty good at it. Here's a video from this weekend's game:

One other tidbit - Colin is getting in his one year molars. I can feel his bottom right side molars and his upper left side molars just about to break through. He's been a little fussy and clingy lately and I'm betting those teeth are the culprit!
