Paging Dr. Brown. You're needed in the ER stat! My mom came into town this weekend and brought with her a little doctor play kit. Colin loved it and carried the stethoscope around with him all day Saturday. I don't know if it's because he's a quick learner or because he's been to the doctor one too many times, but he knew exactly what to do with it. He could check his temperature, give himself a shot and use the mirror for his throat. After he gave himself a check up, he was on to checking on everyone else including his toys and the cat.
This weekend was also filled with activity for Cameron and I. Friday night we celebrated my birthday with a night out downtown. Saturday was Eric and Tara's going away party and we stayed out later than we have in a long time. It was, of course, a theme party and I'll post up a pic or two once I get them. Looking forward, this is definitely a tough week for us as we say goodbye to both Kevin and Sarah on Monday as they head off to Nashville and Eric on Friday on his way to Sacramento. It is sadly the end of an era.
