We took Colin for his six week check up at the Ear Nose and Throat doctor yesterday to check up on his ears. Surprisingly, we got bad news. While he hasn't had an ear infection in months, the fluid from his last infection has yet to dry up. So, he still scored a bit lower than normal on his hearing test and the doctor recommended that we go ahead and get tubes put into his ears. It's a super simple procedure that literally takes 10 minutes and is very low risk. So, we haven't set the date yet, but his surgery will probably be in about two weeks. We'll keep everyone posted.
