Yesterday we went down to Zilker Park for the 81st annual kite festival. It was fun to take part in an Austin tradition since 1928. Lots of people made it out for the big event which was great because there were so many different types of kites to watch. And we couldn't have asked for better weather - 60 degrees, blue, sunny skies and 10-15 mph winds - perfect for flying a kite. It made for a great Sunday afternoon. The city is also doing some construction on a section of the park, so there were a few 'big trucks' out that Colin was able to explore. Here are a couple of pics:
