This weekend was so much fun! Friday afternoon Kevin and Sarah arrived into town from Nashville and we started off the Halloween festivities by carving a pumpkin. We thought Colin would love digging out all of the guts but as it turns out, he found it really gross. Then after a quick dinner, we got ready for trick or treating. It only took one house for Colin to get down the concept and afterwards he was on his own. People were very patient with him while he dug around the candy bowl choosing his one piece of candy and everyone commented on how cute of a monkey he was. He stayed out for over an hour, had his first few pieces of real candy and even went to bed late. It was a perfect first Halloween!
Saturday we spent a few hours at a park and then had dinner with the gang. It was so nice to see everyone - it had been a while since we had all been together. These events always remind us of how good of friends we really have and how lucky we are. Sunday, Kevin and Sarah flew back home and we just got ready for the upcoming week.
Here are some pictures from Friday's Halloween's festivities:

PS - we've gotten quite a few questions about when we'll find out the sex of the baby. Unfortunately we won't find out until early January - so stay tuned!
