Colin's best friend has to be the cat. He LOVES her. He is always trying to snuggle with her - a little too rough sometimes. He loves to play with her and giggles when she responds in just the slightest way. Today he was reading to her. He desperately wanted to show her that there were two cats in the book Goodnight Moon. She layed there for a while listening to him but when he tried to pull her close for a better look - she was done. Here's a pic I caught of the two of them.
Also, last night Jon and Kelly graciously babysat for us while Cameron and I attended a KPMG function. We have been putting Colin on his potty seat every night while we prepare his bath hoping that the sound of the flowing water will help him use his potty. We've been doing that for a few weeks now with no success until last night! We were very excited when Jon and Kelly reported that there was action on the potty!! We're so proud of Colin and this huge milestone! : )
