Sept 17

This morning was Colin's ear surgery. He did great! We had to be at the hospital at 5:45 this morning and after all of the paperwork, pre-op prep and just generally waiting around, he went back at 7am. The doctor came back out at 7:10 and was finished. It was so fast! He said Colin's ears still had quite a bit of fluid specifically the left ear so it was a good thing we did this when we did or he would definitely would be at high risk for more infections this winter. Now with the tubes, he should be infection free (and therefore anitibiotic free) and his hearing should be much improved. He was fussy for about an hour or so after he woke up from the anesthesia and as of 10 o'clock this morning he's up playing around as if nothing happened. He's such a trooper! Here's a pic Cameron took with his phone of us changing Colin into his hospital gown (sorry for the quality).

Trent's nephew (2 years old) also had tubes put in his ears on Wednesday... I'm so thankful both little boys are doing well today!
