Where does the time go? We have had a great time the last several weeks and the kids are just growing like weeds.

Hannah will be six months tomorrow and is doing great. She is such a sweet natured baby! She spends her days smiling, giggling and eating her toes. She can roll in both directions but is much better at rolling from her back to her tummy. She is working on sitting up by herself and can sit unassisted for up to about 20 seconds. We started her on solids a few weeks ago and she is just starting to enjoy the process. Her favorite person continues to be Colin and they have started to 'play' a little together. It's very cute to watch. She has, however, just noticed the cat and right now she is just running her hands over her fur which the cat is very thankful for - finally a little attention!

Colin is about to start a new school the week of Halloween. We are moving him to a school closer to the house and who has a more cohesive approach to curriculum. They just had a Fall Festival which they invited us to where there were clowns, games and sno cones. I hope Colin doesn't think that happens every day at 'new school'!! He is constantly drawing, singing his ABC's and counting everything in sight. He is just starting to realize that letters make words and so he points to words, reads the letters out loud and then asks 'what does that say'? October is a great month because we get to learn lots and do all kinds of art projects about Fall and Halloween.

We did go to the beach with my Dad and Debbie in September. I think it was the first time Colin was able to play in the waves. Needless to say, he LOVED it! He splashed in the water, played in the sand and even did a little fishing. While visiting, my Dad and Debbie broke out their Wii Fit board and Colin got to try out a few games. He decided that he could only wear his diaper while playing which made us giggle but it was fun for us all to play together.
