We had our sonogram yesterday to find out the sex of the baby. We are proud to announce that we are having a baby girl! The doctor visit yesterday went great, the baby seems to be perfectly normal and she even is weighing in at a little above average (9 oz). I've scanned some of the sonogram pictures but they are hard to see. The first one is a profile pic with the head on the right side of the picture, the second one the baby is looking at the camera again head on the right and the last one is a shot between the legs confirming it's a girl. Hopefully that helps!


I'll be 19 weeks on Friday and some studies suggest that the baby may be able to hear by then. Also, she is starting to grow hair on her head and her brain is working on it's sensory development this week. With regards to me, now is the time that back aches kick in thanks to an expanding pelvis and softening joints. Also, if you ever wondered why pregnant women always rub their bellies - it's because the stretching of the skin that starts about now makes it itchy.
