Last Friday, Cameron installed a new light in our breakfast room and turned off the power to the house just to be safe. When he turned the power back on, it set our alarm off and scared the heck out of both me and Colin. Colin calmed down pretty quickly but he was tentative downstairs for the next few days. Actually, he was convinced that it was a cat toy that was on the floor by where we were when the alarm went off that had made that loud noise until I spent some time showing him it was really just a cat toy. Now though, almost every time we're downstairs, he remembers the alarm and tells me how much it scared him. Here's his story:
