Nov 4

Halloween is definitely more fun with kids! We had a great time this weekend. The festivities kicked off on Thursday with a viewing of Charlie Brown's The Great Pumpkin. Colin was glued to the tv and actually thought it was funny that Charlie Brown got rocks when he went trick or treating. On Friday, they had a party at Colin's school. It was cute seeing all the kids dressed up in their costumes. Saturday we went downtown to a book festival where Colin got to dance to a local kid band and we played on the capital grounds. That evening we got the kids dressed in their costumes and headed over to Matt and Amy's where Colin trick or treated for rocks in honor of Charlie Brown. Then we walked around our neighborhood where he learned that you only go to houses with their porch light on to trick or treat, you only take one piece of candy and to say thank you, happy halloween before heading to the next house. He did great! They both were pooped by the end of the night but Colin loved his costume so much he wanted to sleep in it. Now what to do with all of the left over candy???
PS - Hannah was a spider for Halloween but Cameron took the pictures off the camera onto his computer. So, I'll post up a pic of her in her costume soon.
