Another update: We had a sonogram today and she is looking great! Her weight is approximately 6 lbs now and she's estimated to put on about half a pound a week from this point forward. So, if she stays in until the end, she very well could be over 8 lbs. She is sitting very low and in a very awkward position for me but the doctor said there was no concern about her being so low for a long period of time.
One of the great things we were able to see on the sonogram was her lungs moving as she practiced breathing. That was a pretty amazing sight. They said it was a wonderful thing to see and a great sign regarding her lung development. Also, there has been no progression on my end, so the doctor gave me a little more wiggle room on my bed rest. Lastly, we asked about induction and they don't do inductions until 39 weeks - so it looks like her birthday will be sometime between May 8th and May 15th unless she decides on her own to come sooner.
One other thing to note is that my mom moved in with us this past weekend. What a blessing it has been to have her here. She's been a great help with Colin and he's now back to school part time. She is also helping around the house and giving Cameron a much needed reprieve. I've never seen a husband so excited to have his mother in law move in! : ) We are very lucky to have her here during this time.
