Today we took Colin to the eye doctor at the recommendation of his geneticist. Apparently, NPS can impact his eyes and they wanted to make sure he didn't have any defects from birth from the syndrome. We were at the eye doctor for over an hour and a half!!! But as usual, Colin was a trooper. They tested for a whole host of issues which required him to sit still, have his eyes dialated with drops, look into an eye machine and recognize symbols on a chart while covering up alternating eyes. It was gruelling to say the least and he did great. Also, he passed with flying colors. The doctor said that after all the tests, his eyes appear to be perfectly normal (which we suspected would be the case). Now, we'll just go into monitoring mode to make sure nothing pops up going forward. Next, we're off to the dentist.......
